A bridge saw and a machining centre in one machine. One operator, three steps — load, machine, unload. Up to 40% more output and up to 30% lower labour costs than a two-station setup.

Poseidon Industries, an American manufacturer of stone processing machinery, is bringing its flagship model — the T-Rex CNC bridge saw — to the European market. At the heart of every machine is the patented Hybrid Cycle™: a single process that replaces the whole chain of separate workstations. The slab goes onto the table once and comes off as a finished piece.
Instead of moving the slab between a saw and a separate machining centre, the T-Rex takes it once: loading, machining and finishing happen on one table, in one continuous cycle, with one operator.
| Traditional production | Poseidon T-Rex | |
|---|---|---|
| Machinery | 2 or more | 1 |
| Slab handling operations | 8 or more | 3 (load, machine, unload) |
| Operators | 2 or more | 1 |
| Production | baseline | up to +40% |
| Labour costs | baseline | up to −30% |
The T-Rex comes in two sizes. Both run the same Hybrid Cycle™ and share the same design — they differ in the slab size they handle and spindle power. Each can be ordered with a single or double table.

The photos show a machine from the T-Rex line — both sizes share the same design and differ in table size. Specifications are given by the manufacturer and converted to metric units. We confirm the final configuration, dimensions and installation requirements at the quotation stage — tell us which slabs you cut and what your hall is like, and we will choose the version.
Poseidon also builds bridge saws, edge polishers and workstation equipment. Every machine is delivered with installation and operator training.

Poseidon Industries grew out of an unusual experience: its founder got to know stone machinery by repossessing it from workshops that could not repay their leases in the 2008 crisis.
During the financial crisis Joe Alva repossessed CNC machining centres from stone workshops. Along the way he installed, serviced and commissioned virtually every brand of machining centre and bridge saw in the industry — and saw what went wrong with each of them.
Alva founds his own company in Punta Gorda, Florida. The machines are designed and built in the United States, on the principle that they must withstand the realities of shift work in a workshop.
Every Poseidon machine has the patented Hybrid Cycle™, which combines the work of a bridge saw and a machining centre in a single slab clamping. That is where the productivity gain comes from, without a second workstation or a second operator.
The flagship T-Rex saw is welded from steel, with an unusual pentagonal bridge designed to limit vibration during cutting. Besides the T-Rex series, the manufacturer offers edge polishers, other saws and lifting and automation equipment.
We will arrange a demonstration of the machine at work — you will see how Hybrid Cycle™ shortens the path from slab to finished worktop.
