The slab is cut, polished and given sink cut-outs just like an ordinary worktop.
Vitium Star transfers a stone pattern onto a mineral base slab by sublimation. The dye penetrates the surface of the slab — it is not a film or a sticker — and the veining runs without a break across the worktop, edge and front.
Footage from the shop floor: the slab just after the transfer paper is removed. You can see the shine, the veining and the depth without any image editing.
Cutting, polishing and cut-outs are done just as before. The only additions are printing the pattern and sublimation, which give the base slab the look of any stone.

The slab is cut, polished and given sink cut-outs just like an ordinary worktop.

The printer applies the stone pattern to transfer paper: veins, shadows and tonal transitions — including a pattern designed for a specific worktop.

The print is laid on the slab, and the vacuum table presses it evenly against the whole surface. During heating the dye sublimates and bonds permanently with the slab.

After cooling, the paper is peeled off to reveal the finished surface. The slab is ready for further processing and installation.
The pattern can be designed so that the veining flows from the worktop over the thick edge onto the cabinet front. The kitchen island then looks as if it were carved from a single block.
The same island in one pattern after another — from black marble to sodalite and paisley. The customer chooses, you print.
One pattern can cover the worktop, the backsplash, the island front and the wall cladding. The manufacturer's visualisations show how it looks in an interior.

The Vitium brand belongs to Veneto Technology, a manufacturer of precision machinery for the stone industry. The lines are built in China, and the pattern is transferred to the mineral base slab by thermal sublimation.
Vitium Surface is also a network of workshops using this technology. Each one has exclusivity in its own area, so network members do not compete with each other. The line can grow with the workshop — from the Star model to the Ultra.
Buying the line makes you part of the Vitium Surface network. End customers recognise the brand and come to you — the local fabricator in your area — for their worktop.
We'll arrange a demonstration of the line and give you a sample kit — six tiles with different stone patterns. Tell us what your workshop does and what you want to produce.
